How much does a food photography shoot cost?

Every project is priced based on the specific ask, so there's no one-size-fits-all number — but shoots can be tailored to fit a range of budgets. Higher investments allow for things like talent, location scouting, extensive prop sourcing to build out a brand look, high-end retouching, and crew costs that elevate the overall production quality. Smaller projects are also welcome.

Do you handle food styling and prop sourcing?

Yes — on smaller scale projects I take on food styling and prop sourcing myself. For larger productions I bring in crew who are exceptionally skilled at their specific roles, so everyone can bring their best to the shoot. This makes the day run faster and results in a higher quality final product.

Are you available for shoots outside of South Florida?

Absolutely. I'm open to travel for the right project and available for shoots throughout Florida and nationally.

How long does a food photography shoot take?

Shoot schedules are built out in pre-production to make sure we're using our time efficiently and hitting every deliverable on the list — with room to grab extras if time allows. The length depends on the scope of the project.

What types of clients and brands do you work with?

I work with indie CPG brands, food and beverage brands of all sizes, food media outlets, recipe photography clients, and restaurants. If it's food or beverage, I'm interested.

How far in advance do I need to book?

I keep my schedule as flexible as possible. I can book out as far in advance as needed and can also accommodate quick turnarounds when the timeline is tight.

Hi there! I’m Ali Redmond, a commercial and editorial photographer shooting all things food and beverage in my studio in the sun-soaked and thunderstorm-drenched coast line of South Florida (West Palm Beach, to be exact). A little ‘bout me if you’re wondering:

Food was the first love — I spent more money on cookbooks than textbooks in college, and somewhere between pouring over the recipes and photography, I realized this was something I could happily do for the rest of my life. So here we are!

Pair a forever affinity for the subject with a background spanning CPG brand strategy, editorial visual storytelling, and luxury hospitality, and you get a photographer who shows up as a creative partner. I know how to create strategic imagery that lives within a brand world, how to shoot food with a point of view, and how to anticipate what a client needs before they ask.

I'm endlessly inspired by the world around me — in colors, materials, shapes, design, vintage wares, light, texture, and the grooves and rhythms of a creative life. The work is where all of it gets to live.

In my studio or on-location, I work with CPG brands, food media, and restaurants on product, lifestyle, campaign, and editorial photography — making imagery that's energetic, color-forward, and intentional.

In the off hours, i’m making playlists, telling my dog how cute he is, reminding my partner how cute our dog is, having dance parties, pining for a road trip, and aweing at all the butterflies in my garden 🦋
